Tips On Installation
| · |
If you're drilling into concrete, brick or plaster you should
use a 5.5mm diameter masonry drill bit. |
 |
| · |
If you're drilling into wood, steel or UPVC you should use
a 3mm diameter high speed steel (HSS) drill bit. |
| · |
If you're drilling into tiles then cover your drilling point
with masking tape. This will prevent the drill from slipping. |
| · |
If you're drilling into UPVC make sure you avoid the sealed
unit. |
| · |
Other hardware may be required (supplied with blinds): Installation
brackets, spacer blocks, extension brackets, and hold-down brackets |
Step-By-Step Installation
Step 1)
Gather your tools and unpack your blind. Inside you'll find
all the fixtures and fittings that you'll need as well as a
more comprehensive set of instructions.
|
|
 |
Step 2)
Decide where you want your blind to be positioned and mark out
your drill holes. In most cases you'll only need to drill 2
holes. Usually these should be positioned about 150mm from the
end of the blind. Wider blinds will need more holes drilling,
but don't worry, full details will come with your blind. |
|
 |
Step 3)
Drill your holes and then screw the brackets into place. |
|
 |
Step 4)
Fit your blind into the brackets. Almost all styles of blind
will just click into place. It really is that easy! |
